As a favor for someone else I have a question about whether some RAM will
work with the combination of otheer parts. Here is the combination:

An online friend is trying to build 16 of these for a school, so he wants

The motherboard uses PC2700 RAM. but the PC3200 memory you have selected
will work fine. You might consider saving a few bucks and getting the slower
ram. With a Sempron 2500 you're not looking at a speed demon anyway.

Also, your friend might consider having someone else build the PC's if
he/she doesn't know how to read the memory specification for a motherboard
and how to match that up with the appropriate type of memory.

Also, since the motherboard doesn't do dual channel memory, you might
consider getting a single 1 GB stick. That way the PC's will have an
available slot for future upgrades should it become neccessary.
