I have multiple word doc's that I need to combine into one file. Can someone
tell me how to do that?

JoAnn's instructions are concise and to the point. How well combining
documents works depends on whether they were constructed properly using
styles. You can try a new document and then using Insert > File for the
first document to be included, then insert at the end a next-page section
break (Insert > Break) and use Insert > File to attempt bringing in the the
second.
