Hi All, I am in need of a template or database schema for what could loosley
be described as a Time and Attendance databse.
I've done a version thereof in Excel but it isn't specific enough, so it
looks like MS ACCESS or MYSQL? with a web front end? might be the best option?
In simple we have ten types of employee where I work ranging from team
leaders to electricians. and I needa form that lists each employee and there
role, then the wages girl needs to input whether during a said period that
they took a sick, holiday, overtime or training. (I was thinking a form to do
this part)
And then the managers then want a report etc to show each week per month how
many of each role took sick etc? so they can have a report that says a
calculation of amount of sick days per role and of course they could also use
it to see which individuals are taking holidays etc.
Sounds simple but I was pretty keen to see if anyone hada pre-made database
that I could use as a model? or a piece of software that can sort this out
for me?
I'm not lazy, but I am under increasingly tight time constraints.
Cheers
