i need a c.v template and i can't find it in word or the web page

i couldn't find a c.v template in microsoft word, there use to be one and i
couldn't find one on the microsoft site were it said i would be able to
downloads one

The template that ships with Word is called Resume.dot. If you didn't
install all the available templates, it may not have been installed. As
others have indicated, the Office Template Gallery at
http://office.microsoft.com/templates/default.aspx? has numerous templates
for CVs or résumés.
