I messed Up XP

I forgot my xp professional password, so I partioned my
hard drive and loaded windows 2000 onto the new partion.
Then I couldn't see my xp as a choice to boot to. even
though they were both NTFS. So I loaded xp on top of 2000
and still couldn't see xp I can see all the files when I
look into drive C:. Now I found my password how do I go
back to the way things were in the start?

Lori,
If your "partitioning" of the hard drive included removing the partition
XP was installed on, then you probably installed Win2K over where it was on
the hard drive. There are some very expensive methods that may recover some
of you data but to get XP running you will have to re-install.
