I lost "Run" on Start menu

Frank: I redid this one, but when I hit "advanced", it shot to the Start Menu. I tried it last night with the same results. This is from Classic start. From the XP start, I get a menu, not the start menu page, but "Enable Run", or "Display Run" etc. is not on that menu. Ideas??? Thanks. Gary.

Check the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

and see if NoRun is set in the right panel. If so remove it or set it to 0.
