I lost all the code

I have an Access 2003 application with a few tables, forms with buttons that
update the tables, or call other forms or reports. This application is saved
in a secure location on the LAN with restricted access to it's location. We
have used this application until end of dec 2007. In Jan 2008 we converted to
Office 2008. When I go to open the application (not converted yet) none of
the buttons work any more. When I wanted to look at the code (to debug) the
code have disappeared.
I am puzzled. What can be the reason? It doesn't metter if I open the
application in Access 2003 or 2007....the code is not there.

I would appreciate any opinion.

Hope you have a backup. I have seen this happen quite a few times.
The only way I could fix it was to restore a working version of the
database from tape. Your database is corrupt.

What happens when you convert the database to 2007 format?

If you are just looking in the property events you might not see [Event
Procedure]. Click on the down arrow for the event and you might find it
again. My experience has been that the code is still there but you need to
put things back together again.

If you used the switchboard manager in 2003, it will not work at all in 2007
and you will need to recreate the switchboard.
