I keep getting an error when I try to read or write to my a: drive

I keep getting an error" please insert a disk into a drive when Iam trying to
read or write to it. I have the diskett in the drive and the light just stays
on constantly? I have tried different disketts and I get the same message.

Hello,

The drive may be reaching its end of life or the heads are dirty or the
diskettes might be in the same situation too.

Try cleaning the heads with a diskette cleaner and use brand new diskettes.
