i keep getting action canceled message

when i download a website the page opens with parts of
the page covered by the action canceled message.you know
the message u get when your internet service is down.but
my internet service is fine.yahoo is my home page and it
comes up fine when i open my browser.but when i go to
other websites parts of the page is covered with action
canceled message.my browser is internet explorer 6.0.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I get that as a result of having changed my hosts file to avoid
spyware sources. Ain't pretty, but I guess it does the trick.

Just goes to show ya how much junk some of these sites are loading .....
FYI: AdShield 2.0, 2.5, 3.0(beta) all freeware and the paid version 3.05
removes the Action Cancelled message <g>
