I keep getting a send and receive progress bar when I send emails.

Sorry, yes there is a question. How do I get rid of the progress bar?

Doesn't unchecking Tools>Send/Receive Settings>Show Progress accomplish what
you want, as well as checking the "Don't show..." box in the Progress
window?
