I have two accounts, each has a different signature.

I have two email accounts in Outlook 2003, each has a different signature
when I send, forward or respond to an email. All of my emails arrive in one
inbox, which is fine. However, if I want the appropriate signature to work,
I have to keep going into Tools/Accounts and change the default account,
which is very inconvenient.
Is there a way I can set up so that
(a) any replies I make to emails that arrived to one email address will go
out with the correct signature, and likewise for the second address, and
(b) I can add an extra 'New' button so that each 'New' button could start a
new email with the relevant different signature?
Help would be welcome - thanks.

Configure the correct signature for the correct account in Tools-> Options->
tab Mail Format
Also set there to use Word as your e-mail editor and all should go
automatic.

Thank you for helping. I have tried your suggestion, and have solved half of
my problem. the part I have solved is that now when I reply to or forward an
email, it recognises which of my accounts the email was addressed to, and
replies (or forwards) with the correct signature.
However, how do I solve the 'new email' problem? If I have set one account
as the default, then all emails are sent with that signature. Once I have
started/opened the new email, I can use the account button to choose which
account to actually send from (irrespective of the default account), but the
signature is already there. What I really need is two 'new' buttons, so that
I can choose which one to start, and that would then bring up the correct
signature....
Any further ideas, please?

I solved this by setting the default signature to None. Then when choosing
the non default acct, I use Insert, Signature and pick what I want in the new
email from the list of various sigs. That way I can save several boilerplate
text messages as well as sigs to insert. Signatures are handy for more than
just signatures.
