I'm paranoid doesn't mean a virus isn't out to get me: I think I've
found most antivirus/antispyware ("antimalware") will tend to catch
something another misses. I.e., run more than one. Maybe not the more
the merrier, but *some*.
I'm paranoid enough that I have, let's see, sitting here as I type...I
count seven for various purposes (two combo, the rest specifically
anti-adware) on both my laptops. One is just a weenie, CWshredder,
doesn't do a whole lot, but the rest I consider somewhat strong.
I agree, get rid of Norton, and puhleeze get rid of AOL Security
Manager and its promises: both put heavy strangleholds on a system and
are hard to remove!
