I have no access to the "tabs" on the options menu of excel

I loaded Office Professional 2003 and cannot gain acces to the "tab" on the
Options menu. I ge a "cannot access directore w:\path\" caution. I cannot
change the path since I cannot access the tebs. HELP!!!!!!
 
What is preventing you from accessing the tabs? Do you need to reposition
the options window?
