I have changed the font size in my Data Validation list, BUT...

I need to know how to make selection/scroll arrows on the side because one of
my lists contains several hundred numbers and whenever I click the
validation/combo list, it comes up, but there's no way to scroll down to
select any numbers that aren't on the screen at first.

This is a screen shot of what I'm talking about. If this picture is for some
reason not allowed on this forum, please let me know!

Did you use a combo box from the Forms toolbar or from the Control Toolbox?
Do you really need a list of numbers? Maybe you can use data validation,
and only allow numbers in a specified range.

How did you change the font size in your Data Validation List. Did you use
the code to automatically zoom in when a data validation cell is selected or
did you do a different way? I use a data validation list in one of my
spreadsheets as well but when i click on the drop down list the font size is
so small I have to strain to read it. I see another post with the same
problem and Peo Sjoblom indicated that Debra Dalgleish had written some VB
code to automatically zoom in when a specific cell was selected.

The font was changed by using a combobox, instead of data validation.
You can use programming to add and display a combobox, that shows the
data validation list, as described here:

In the combobox properties, you can change the font and font size.
