Hi Everyone

I have a filesharing problem which is proving quite hard to resolve

I have a wireless router the linksys wag54, pc1 is connected to the router
by ethernet cable, pc2 is connected by ethernet, and my laptop connects
wirelessly.

All systems have been manually configured ip addresses and dns.

Everything works except for when i want to access shared folders on pc2 this
is from pc1 and the laptop, all the firewalls have been configured for
sharing . it just pc2 will not share its shared folders or files.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

What exactly happens when pc1 and the laptop try to access shared
folders on pc2? If there's an error message, what does it say?

Your Linksys router acts as a firewall, protecting your computers from
access by other Internet users, so you don't need a firewall program
for that. On pc2, take these steps while troubleshooting:

1. Disable the built-in Windows XP firewall (Internet Connection
Firewall or Windows Firewall).

2. Un-install (don't just disable) any firewall program: ZoneAlarm,
Norton, McAfee, PC-cillin, Sygate, eTrust, etc). Don't re-install the
firewall until everything is working, and then configure it to allow
access by computers on the local area network.
