Help! This is driving me crazy! I have used word for years for general use
at home. I think I got kind of button happy a while back and need your help.
For lack of better knowledge of computer words........I have a pale gray
graph that shows up in the body of the page. I reminds me of what I used in
High School to do graphs on. I have clicked on the buttons on the bottom
left of the screen, that does not make it go away! I think it has something
to do with something I have changed in the File/Edit/View/Tool area. I'm not
sure. It did NOT use to be there. When I print stuff, it will not show when
I print it off, but it is there no matter if I pull up stuff I made in Word
years ago before the graph envaded my life! please help!!!!

In Word, display the Drawing toolbar if it isn't already
displayed (View | Toolbars | Drawing). On the Drawing toolbar,
click on Draw | Grid | uncheck the "Display gridlines on screen"
box | OK.

Display the Drawing toolbar. Click the Draw button at the left end and
select Grid from the menu. In the dialog, uncheck "Display gridlines on
screen".
