Change ME back to English and than do the XP install and than change the
language. If at all possible it is best to do a clean install of XP.

Greetings --

You cannot upgrade from one language version of the OS to another,
so you'll either have to purchase and use the full version of English
WinXP to perform a clean installation, or purchase and use a Spanish
version of the WinXP Upgrade.

Greetings --

And just how, pray tell, does one change WinME to an English
version? Is there a magic spell available that we all can learn?
