I hate it when I abbreviate a word and auto-correct always capita.

So, turn off autocorrect, or at least that option.
 
go MS WORD\tools\options\spelling & grammar\settings and
uncheck "Capitalization" and see if that helps. may have
to restart outlook. outlook uses the spell/grammar
settings from word
