I GET A MESSAGE "500 UNKNOWN CODE" WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

i am trying to upload files (photos) via frontpage to my ftp site, i get a
message window 500 unknown code - what does this means and how can i get rid
of this one.

A 500 error is "usually" a permissions error on the server.
Check with your hosting company.
