I get a 'circular' error when adding another field to a query

I was trying to add another field to a query and then re-save the query but I
get a 'circular' error. I'm not sure how to fix this or get around it
without saving the query as another name and then having to go and change all
related reports, forms etc.

Please post the relevant structure of your Table, the SQL String of the
Query that worked, what you trying to do and the SQL String of the Query
that doesn't work.
