I do not like vista

I have 2 machines I have built and installed vista on. Ona a 64X and the
other a 32 x machine. On the 64x machine ( duel boot with xp pro and Vista
64bit) I can not load the driver for a TV card I have installed on because
on the 64 bit version of vist the drivers have to be DIGITALLY SIGNED by
Microsoft. And on both machines I can not use the MSN Premium internet
software because it has an compatability issue with vista (RC1 V 5600 ) SO
that is pretty bad that you can not run their own software on thier operating
system. they said the problem would be fixed on RTM... but it is not helping
me now. So I will probably stick with XP Pro for now.
Built the 32x system for my son and wanted him to be ahead of the others
with the new operating system.

The Vista Beta program is most certainly not intended as a way to get the
latest and greatest.

Its primary function is to test the operating system on a variety of
hardware in such a way
which Microsoft would never have a possibility of doing "in-house".

Therefore, the main purpose of the tester ( you, if you use Vista ) is to
report any findings
of errors or malfunctions in the system, and to expect that there will be
errors and malfunctions.

It is also important to understand that the beta versions of Vista are not
supposed to be used
anywhere where data or operations may be at risk.

Why is the driver you have not signed? You're not trying to install your TV
card's 32-bit driver on x64, are you?

What are you missing by not installing that? I got the same MSN Premium kit
when I subscribed to Bell Sympatico, and I haven't bothered installing any
of that crapware.
