Its best you contact the manufacturer of your computer about receiving a
physcal recovery disk (operating system only).

My computer also did not come with the OS disk. however it has a recovery
partition that allows me to roll everything back to a fresh install. Check
you manual and you might have something similar.

Why do you want to reinstall? If you're having problem post it here and
maybe it can be solved.

Depending on the brand, in many case's you have to MAKE the backup/restore
disks yourself or purchase them separately from the manufacturer.
On most of my recent OEM systems, the option to make your own recovery disks
is on the Start Menu in a folder under the OEM's name.
It is usually labelled to be easily identified.
Many systems that come with a DVD burner offer to make 1-2 DVDs or 12-16 CDs
as 'restore/recovery' disks.
Otherwise, call the OEM or visit their website and ask.

Go out any buy one - then you won't have all the crap the
manufacturer loaded into his disk image on your installation. And
buy a decent manual while you're out - it will keep your blood
pressure down.
