I can't watch a movie!

I can't watch a movie.

Windows Media Player9 error
says "Class factory cannot supply requested class".
Quicktime says "could not open file because it is not a
file quicktime understands" DivX says "Failed to open
file. Please check that it is a valid AVI or MPEG-4 file."


What is the problem?

Possibly the file itself.... it might be corrupted.

Or one last option.... Download and install GSpot which will analyze the
file and tell you which codecs you need to be able to play it.

What type of file is the movie Is it ASF,MWV etc. Check
to see that it is a format supported by Windows Media
Player. Email: (e-mail address removed)
