I can't store my Paswords in Windows Mail/Vista

Hello,

first of all sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany
and I didn't found a german newsgroup for my problem.

Yesterday I closed my pC the normal way and in the moning I started
as usual. Now suddently my both eMail accounts lost the Pasword
and I can't store it anymore. If I look at

extras - accounts - email - server

than the gab for the pasword is empty ... but the hook at
"remember pasword" I can see.

What happend? Any idea ???
Maybe the automatic windows update made a change to my Windows Mail, or?

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.
