I can't send messages

I have sent & received email thru Outlook Express for years and all of a
sudden I can't send emails. I get this message:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: Meeting Tues 2/3',
Account: 'pop3.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

My web connection is fine. Anybody have a clue?

If you're using OE, then you're not using Vista. OE has been replaced with
Windows
Mail and the newer Windows Live Mail in Vista.

Have you tried the secret port 587 setting?
follow the last steps... starting with 10.

Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Also, which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not fully compatible
with Windows Mail.
