I can't see the pictures I insert into a power point slide.

Please use the text area for your message. Tell us how you inserted the
picture, and the version of PowerPoint your using.
 
Assuming you're using PPT 2003, open PPT and go to Help | Check for Updates.
Install SP2 (service pack 2) for Office 2003.

As the others mentioned, in future please use the message body area of the
posting window to type your question and provide pertinent details -- such
as which version of PPT you are using.
