I can't play DVDs!!!

Everytime I insert a DVD, the WinDVD program appears on screen but then freezes up. I can't play the DVD! I tried it in all the other media options, but the same thing occurred, the program froze. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
 
Any info of your system would be greatly appreciated.
