I can't open links in email anymore

Since some time I can't open any link anymore which is mailed to my Outlook
2002 program. I can click on the link but I only get the option to save it as
an .exe file.
Copying and pasting the link into my browser works however.

Any advice how to be able to open those links again?

Hi,

You are not prompted to save it to a .exe but it asks fors a .exe. Point it
to iexplore.exe and try again.

As a suggestion -Try the following: Control panel>Folder options>File
types - scroll down and select
"HTM" (HMTL document). Under "details for 'HTM' extensions" should be the
statement "opens with internet explorer" - if not click on "Change" and
select IE. Click on the "Advanced" option and set "open" as default -
click "OK".
