I can't change home page?

I open IE and Cox homepage comes up,I click on internet
options and the message (This operation has been canceled
due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please
contact your system adminstrator.)
This problem just started a week ago and I am at my wits
end. Please help me???

It sounds like you've been hijacked. Check out Jim Eshelman's site on
parasites to see if there is a fix for you. Some of these can be difficult
to ferret out but Jim has put together a great site with links to on line
scanners and a variety of tools and other support services

Did you install Spybot Search & Destroy a week ago? That's one of it's
great features, it disables the internet options so you can't be
hijacked. Either turn off the feature in S&D or, open internet options
in control panel with IE closed, you'll be allowed to make changes that
way.

Nope! SpyBot has the option to lock down the home page to prevent it from
being hijacked! To change the I.E. options go to start and right click on
Internet Explorer at the top. Then go to internet properties. Do what you
want from there.
