I cannot stop being reminded of a deleted calendar event

In Outlook XP, I keep getting reminders of an event that has been deleted.
Whenever I attempt to open or dismiss the reminder, I receive an error
message indicating that the reminder has been deleted or removed. The event
is, of course, no longer on my calendar, regardless of which view I use, so I
cannot try to access it that way.

After a week of this nonsense, I ran the Inbox Repair Tool, but that didn't
remove this pesky and persistent reminder from popping up at least once a day.

Does anybody know how to repair this problem?

Thanks,

S

Hi,

you can try to start Outlook with the parameter /cleanreminders, e.g.:

"C:\Programme\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" /Cleanreminders

Works like a charm. Also, it gave me a chance to review other Outlook
switches that I haven't bothered with before, now that I know they're there,.
Thanks.
