i cannot send or recieve email through windows mail

I'm not sure what happened. i woke up one day and the emails stop coming
in. i'm showing i have 16 waiting to recieve and they are not coming in
 
Where are you looking when it shows 16 waiting?
Something may have corrupted that mail account in Windows Mail.
Try deleting that mail account, restart Windows Mail, then recreate the
account.
