I cannot install my Monitor driver

Guest

I had to reinstall my operating system after I installed my new hard drive.
After I loaded my operating system, the computer defaulted to a monitor
driver that is not compatible to my monitor. I then downloaded the correct
driver from the Dell website and followed the instructions to install it. I
first went to the Control Panel, then Display, then Settings, then Advanced
tab, then Monitor. The next step was to hit the property tab but the tab was
unable to be pressed.

Does anyone know why?

Right click MyComputer.
Click Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager button.
Expand Monitors, Right click the listed monitor and click "Update driver" in the
popup menu.
Select "No, not this time" and click Next.
Select "Install from a list or specific location" and click Next.
Select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install" and click Next.
Put a check in "Show compatible hardware" above the Model selection windows.
Select your device if it's listed and click Next.
If your device isn't listed, click "Have disk".
Click the Browse button to navigate to where the files for your device are located,
select the .inf file to install the driver and click Ok.
Follow the prompts to finish installing the driver and reboot if required when
finished.
