I cannot change bullet

In Powerpoint, I cannot change the bullet point to Wingdings. In normal
slide view I can see that the font is listed but when I go to Bullet and
numbering and customise my bullet point to choose font Wingdings it is not
listed. Only a few fonts are listed and it does have what I want as a
bullet. I try copying from another file the bullet that I wanted by doing
either the shringe icon or the format paint but instead the font Simsun
appear in the bullet and numbering option with a blank selection.

Please help as I have to apply this particular bullet to all the files.

Beside the font text on the right there is the "subset" what is this?

Thank you very much for any answer that you can provide.

First things first -- do you have the Wingdings font installed?

Go to Start|Control Panel|Fonts. Look for Wingdings, Wingdings 2, or
Wingdings 3. The file names are wingding.ttf, wingdng2.ttf, and wingdng3.ttf

The "subset" area of the symbol (where it might say "mathematical
operators," "number forms," "general punctuation," etc.) dialog just lets
you get to other symbols in the font faster than if you scroll.

Dear Echo,

I have checked the fonts folder as per you description. All the Wingdings
are listed, but it is still not listed in my bullet list. What can I do?

I don't know. This isn't something I've ever run across before. Anyone have
any ideas?

I suppose you could try reinstalling the fonts.
