I can send and receive e-mail, but cannot use forward or reply fu.

Using Outlook and worldnet.att I can send and receive messages but cannot use
forward or reply functions. Any attempt to send a reply or forward a message
results in error 530 "authentication required"

What version of Outlook? Any other accounts other than worldnet.att? You
need to set the account on which you're getting these errors to
authenticate to its outgoing server (the "Outgoing server" tab for the
account).
