I can receive e mail in outlook but I can't send them?

I can't send mail in outlook. I can send it using my browser e mail account.
I receive a 550 error

Phil,

Sorry to hear that. The error your getting suggests you can not reply email
to the SMTP Server. That could mean that you need to authenicate first for
SMTP. It could mean a couple things. Your ISP should be able to tackle this
with you the one that provides the service for the email. More info below.

550 errors often come from attempting to use an SMTP (sending) server that
doesn't belong to the ISP you're using; most ISPs won't allow this:

Does it make a difference that I'm getting a 530 error? What might that mean?
