I can not view a picture without using print preview.

I am using Word 3000 and when I use the print screen button and then paste to
get the picture into Word I can not see it unless I use print preview. I
want to see the picture when I paste it in.

You won't see pictures in normal view, but can in print view.
You may have to change your view options. Tools > Options > View to show
drawing objects.

On the View tab of Tools | Options, make sure that "Drawings" is checked and
that "Picture placeholders" is NOT checked. See
