It worked fine before. But now when I enter msconfig and press enter, I got
a error messange which says "Windows can not find msconfig". What's the
problem?

Hi Andy,

Are you able to run MSConfig by typing the full path?

%Systemroot%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe

If that does not help, extract a copy of msconfig.exe from the Windows XP
CD-ROM or ServicePack source path (if you have applied SP1 and above)

Thanks for your response.
I can run it from the full path, it is a Environment Variables problem,
right? How can I fix it?

May be an App Paths issue. Open Regedit and navigate to:

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\MSCONFIG.EXE]

In the right-pane, set the (default) value to:

"C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\MSConfig.exe"

Change the drive letters/paths accordingly.
