i can not use down arrow in the table view

I was typing data into the table and suddenly I can not use the arrows to
move between two cells. Do you know if maybe I hit a button that I should
not have, and if so, how can I stop it?

Maybe, but normally you would not do data entry in a table. Build your
tables and set the fields up, then use your forms for data entry and
retrieval.
