I can not send from word 2003 with vista home

How can i use the send to feature of word 2003. I does not work with Vista
home basic.
 
Set Outlook as your default e-mail application.

The desired configuration is keep using windows mail but becomming able to
SEND TO when in word 2003.

I don't want to change to outlook. thanks
