When I logon on my Win2000 machine I come back in the
logonwindow again and again (etc): I can not enter Windows.

I had a few virusinfections which I (partly) removed with
McAfee.
Backdoor-BAM (deleted: svvirus.exe. svcpack.exe)
Proxy-Thunker (clean failed: msdos.exe, msdc.dll)
Downloader-DZ (deleted loader.exe)
Downloader-DS (deleted mssys.exe)
UBS/Psyme (deleted index4[1].htm)

I found them after scanning the harddisk, when I begun to
suspect that McAfee did not check my (spammed) email good
enough.

What can I do to break through the endless logon cycle and
start to clean my pc???

You might have been hit with Blaster or Welchia. Go to
www.sophos.com/support/disinfection and get the removaltools. You might have
to boot in safe mode to be able to run these tools. After that install the
ms03-039 patch from microsoft to prevent it from happening again.

Also in safe mode I can not come through this LOGIN-cycle.

Sounds like your password file has become corrupt.
Try resetting your password for administrator.

Q321305 How to Log On to Windows XP If You Forget Your
Password
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;Q321305

http://securityadmin.info/faq.htm#password

Reboot to Safe Mode, select Administrator, leave password
blank.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel and
delete/change the
password.

You do not need to reinstall if you forgot the admin or
any other password.

There is a boot disk you can download at:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

that will let you reset the password of any account on
NT4, Windows2000 or
XP.

Just follow all the default settings which are for the
admin account.

For an Win2k AD domain controller, you need to do more
than that:

http://www.jms1.net/nt-unlock.html

See if articles 249321 and/or 256194 will be of any help to you.
