I can not install win xp

I had problems cuz i lost my profile and some files
were missing,I formated but I saw some files still post
formatting ,and I used fdisk ,I need to use a bootable
disk of win 98 but I have no idea how can install win
xp,who I can go to the drive

Put the Windows XP install CD in your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive and boot.
The CD is bootable. You may have to configure your BIOS to list the
CD-ROM drive in the boot drive sequence. You can then use the
partitioning and formatting tools provided during Windows XP setup.

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
