I can not download an mp3...will only allow me to save as html.

hello all.....when i right click on an mp3 file and try to "save as" explorer
will not allow me to save as an mp3. it will only allow me to save as an
html. this started after i installed software for a new dsl modem. i have
uninstalled the software but the problem still exist....help please.

If that's actually when it started, use System Restore to back up to the
next one or two Restore points before you installed the modem.

Start; Programs; Accessories; System Tools; Restore

I don't think that's your problem, but ... stranger things have happened.
