I can not delete my deleted folder in Windows Mail

I have Vista. Approximately 5 days ago, I tried to Delete my Deleted Mail
Folder and it won't delete. I have to delete every message separately. I
downloaded the 32-Bit Version 941090 package yesterday, it still does not
work. I did have an automatice update a few days ago, and I am beginning to
think that is when it stopped working properly.

How do I fix it so I can delete the folder all at one time?
Thank you.

Shea, have you tried Right click on the Deleted Items folder>Empty deleted
items folder?

Yes I have tried that also. The box comes up that says do you want to
delete, I click yes, it beeps like it is going to do it and nothing.

Did you install the 32-Bit Version 941090 package after you downloaded it?
If it refuses to install, you might as well try the same with the 64-bit
version
in case you've guessed wrong about which version of Windows you have.
If both refuse to install, try the WORKAROUND section at:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

You can't delete the whole Deleted Items folder. To delete its contents,
but not the folder itself, click on Deleted Items, then Edit, then Empty
'Deleted Items' Folder.

Go to:
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail

The easiest way to do that is in WM via tools
menu>options>advanced>maintenance>store folder, copy and paste the path to
the Start>Run, line>OK.

With WM closed !!!

navigate to the Deleted items folder and delete it, close Windows Explorer,
Reboot your PC. The next time that you open WM the new Deleted Items folder
should be empty?
