I can not change my power options

I can not access my power options. I have a toshiba
satelite laptop, and everytime I am not using my computer
for more than 25 mins, it shuts off. I can not change my
power options though, they are all gray when the dialog
box comes up, and I can not change the settings. Before
the box appears, I get a message that says: To adjust
power management settings, close Microsoft Windows XP
Power Options and use TOSHIBA Power Saver. Please Help!!!
