I am unable to open PDF attachement.

I don't think PDF is set to Level 2 blocking by default. Your administrator
(if you have one) might have set this.
See if "Confirm Open after download" is checked. If so, uncheck it. This
Windows setting is in Folder Options
File Types .... select the PDF Registered file type and then Advanced.
