Bully

After running DCPROMO to deinstall AD parent and then
reinstall it again by keeping the same configuration DNS
etc, the trust relationaships between the parent and the
child AD had broken down. Is there any way I can
reinstate these relationships ?

Sure, if there's more than one DC in the parent domain just use Active
Directory Domains and Trusts.

If there was only one DC in the parent domain...well that's not good news...
