I simply want to create a bound text box with any type of control. Since
access was created by satan, and I have been a naughty boy this year, he has
made my "field list" inaccessible. Yes I have tables, yes they are saved, yes
they have fields with values, and yes I have opened multiple forms and
queries in design view, but to no avail.

I need a fresh perspective from the evil Husseini access help manual
terrorizing my life!

Have you bound the form to a query (or table, although queries are better)?

If there's no Record Source for the form, then the Field list won't give you
anything.

Rock On! Instant gratification and emabarrasment. Sometimes the manual uses
"based" instead of bind, so I get confused. If I knew where Mr. Steele lived
I would send him some special "Harbin" beer... the oldest brew in China,
named for the city I live in... Harbin... incidentally now owned by Anheiser
Busch.
