hyphenation in balloons

In Word 2003 when I insert a comment, words are broken anyplace without a
hyphen. Is there any way to make them either hyphenate properly or not break
across lines?
 
Insert optional hyphens (press Ctrl+Hyphen) at the appropriate locations
within balloon text.
