HYPHENATE IN A TEXT BOX

How do you make text within a text box hyphenate? I have
checked "automatically hyphenate", but it will not in the
text box or within a table, even though it does in the
rest of the body.

I should have asked how do you hyphenate in a text box
that has been copied and pasted from Publisher. I copied
and pasted all the elements of a Publisher file which was
full of hyphenations. But now, no hyphens appear, even
though I have clicked in the boxes, and then
chose "automatically hyphenate." All the text will not
fit in the boxes without hyphenation. Any ideas?

Select the text before turning on hyphenation. Note that "Hyphenate
document" is somewhat misleading. It actually applies only to selected text.

I did that. It works in a text box that was created in
Word. But this is a text box that was copied from
Publisher, and it does not work. I have tried several
times.

Did you copy the entire text box or just the text from it? If the latter,
could it be that you inadvertently pasted the text box as a picture?
