RAM: HyperX pc3200 512Mb

I'm currently using one stick of Kingston HyperX pc3200 512Mb KHX3200A/512

Quick question:

If I get another stick of the same model, shouldn't I be able to run them
in dual channel?

Kingston has that model listed for single channel.

Yes.

Kingston has that model listed for single channel.

All models shoud be listed as single channel since there's really no such
thing as dual channel ram, only dual channel controllers.

A co-worker and I had a discussion today about dual channel memory.

He thinks that a configuration of two 512Mb sticks in dual channel mode
still give him one (1) gig of storage. (I think he said he had pc3200)

I argued that he only has 512Mb of ram storage. But with twice the
bandwidth
@ 128bits - pc6400.

If I'm wrong that would be wonderful!

Congratulations! You lose.
